Eli Enoch
Senior Vice President, Wealth Management ยท TBC Bank

Where others see borders. How Eli Enoch builds Investment Bridges between countries.
Eli Enoch shares how discipline, intellectual curiosity and meaningful relationships helped him structure some of Georgia's most significant financial transactions and why he believes the next investment bridge connects Israel with the Caucasus and Central Asia.
Eli Enoch is a financial executive whose career reads like a list of regional "firsts": the first pure-corporate Eurobond out of Georgia, the country's largest-ever M&A transaction, and its first private equity vehicle. Today, as he builds out cross-border wealth management between Israel and the Caucasus, we asked him what actually drives decisions at that level โ and what he looks for in the people he lets into his circle.
A Career Built on "Firsts"
Eli's track record is unusually concentrated in landmark, first-of-their-kind deals. He led Silknet's inaugural pure-corporate Eurobond โ a $200M Reg S note in 2019 โ followed by a $300M Reg S/144A follow-on raise in 2022, and built the company's institutional-grade investor relations function from scratch.
In 2018 he structured Silknet's acquisition of Geocell, the largest M&A transaction in Georgia at the time, financed through the country's largest bank financing package to date.
He also developed the first statistical income verification model approved by the National Bank of Georgia, and managed Georgia's first private equity vehicle, Galt & Taggart Capital.
"I've done many groundbreaking things throughout my career and I would like to keep doing this. This brings a sense of personal achievement while also creating tangible value for others," Eli says. "There are certain things that actually can be done, when many think they cannot. The tricky thing is to tackle complex problems that are solvable โ and I was lucky to have the wisdom to do that, for the most part."
Today, alongside his advisory and corporate work, Eli runs a cross-border wealth management practice, helping high-net-worth clients, institutional partners, and business owners navigate private equity structuring, capital allocation, and market opportunities across emerging and international markets.
Discipline first: Six years in the Israeli Navy
Before capital markets, there was the sea. Eli credits his six years of service in the Israeli Navy with shaping the analytical rigor, discipline, and leadership that underpin everything he's built since.
Asked what qualities have helped him succeed, Eli names three, each doing distinct work.
First, curiosity:
"Intellectual curiosity and desire to constantly learn new things."
Second, a habit of interrogating the "why" behind events, not just the events themselves:
"Critical thinking: desire to understand why things happen, what are the drivers and fundamental forces behind trends and events, and how can these impact the future."
And third, the follow-through that turns insight into results:
"Discipline and planning: consider what I need to do, devise strategy, translate into action plans and execute on them."
Why relationships are the real Infrastructure
Ask Eli what role connections have played in his career, and he doesn't talk about deal flow, he talks about people.
"Business is done by humans and having great interpersonal relationships helps a lot in achieving goals, as well as enjoying the journey. I think that empathy is super important โ understanding motivations and desires of others."
He traces the vast majority of his achievements not to individual brilliance but to teamwork โ inside his own teams and with outside stakeholders, built on finding common ground and creating synergy.
"When you do that on a constant basis, people want to work with you more and more, and this naturally establishes your reputation and creates more sustainable connections."
The Next Frontier
Today, Eli is focused on opening up a region that many Israeli investors still know surprisingly little about.
His practice sits inside TBC Wealth Management, part of TBC Bank Group PLC โ a London-listed, institutionally-owned FTSE-250 company โ which is building a premier wealth management franchise across the CEE region. He sees a double opportunity in the fast-growing economies of the Caucasus and Central Asia: local high-net-worth individuals who need financial education and access to leading wealth management services, and international investors increasingly drawn to capital markets that are only beginning to open up. TBC Wealth Management has an office in Israel since 2011 and serves hundreds of Israeli clients.
"Through our digital-first and high-quality service banking and investment platforms, we offer international HNWIs exciting opportunities to invest in these markets," Eli explains.
His current focus channels that opportunity directly toward Israel.
"My top priority now is to expand our business in Israel and expose Israeli clients to the world-class banking and investment opportunities in the Caucasus and Central Asia region. Essentially, I would like to put the region on the radar screens of Israeli investors."
What He Looks For
Asked what he looks for in the people he meets, Eli's answer is refreshingly simple.
"Curiosity to learn new things and tell their own unique stories."
Across a career defined by "firsts" โ markets no one had opened, deals no one had structured โ the constant hasn't been risk appetite. It's been curiosity: the instinct to ask why something happens before deciding whether it can be done, and to look at a market others have written off as too complex, too early, or too far off the map, and see the opportunity sitting in plain sight.
